The thirteenth Symposium "Mathematics and Applications" 2023

The XIII Symposium "Mathematics and Applications", a national meeting with international participation, will be held on December 1 and 2, 2022, and be organized by the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade and Society of Mathematicians of Serbia (DMS). The official opening of the Symposium and plenary lectures will be held on Friday, December 1, from 10:00 a.m. while on Saturday, December 2, lectures by sections will be held in the rooms of the Faculty of Mathematics, Studentski trg 16/IV.

We are pleased to invite you to take part at the XIII Symposium "Mathematics and Applications".

As in previous years, all lectures of the Symposium will be divided into 3 sections:

Mathematics and applications - today
Mathematics and informatics in education
Scientific research and professional work of students

We believe that this meeting will be of great interest to both eminent scientists, professors and teachers, as well as to students, but also to all other mathematicians, computer scientists and astronomers, and that it will serve as an incentive for them in the process of further improvement.

One of the main goals is, as usual, the improvement and promotion of science and the teaching of mathematics, computer science, astronomy and mechanics, as well as their position in modern society.

We ask all interested future participants of the meeting, as well as guests, to fill out the electronic registration form and send the abstracts of their lectures no later than November 15, 2023.

Presentations, excluding plenary lectures, within each section are expected to last up to 20 minutes.
