Mathematics and informatics in education
It is well known that mathematics – queen among sciences, pervades all segments of the life of modern man. Mathematical literacy starts primarily through the teaching of mathematics in primary school and then it continues in secondary schools.
Within this section, professors and teachers of mathematics and informatics will have an opportunity to present us the learning and teaching processes nowadays, to share their impressions and exchange experiences with other colleagues and to talk about their methods, to draw attention to current problems and to suggest some ideas for solving these problems and to give initiative for thinking about new organized activities that will raise the popularity of mathematics to a higher level.
How to promote mathematics, how to motivate students, how to make mathematics more accessible and interesting in connection with everyday life are some of the topics that will appear in this section.
